Terms of use
Last updated 8 August 2026 · version 2026-08-launch-v1
These terms cover the use of this website, the free Exit-Ready Scorecard and the £49 Exit-Readiness Report. Consultancy engagements are governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything here.

What the scorecard and report are — and are not
The Exit-Ready Scorecard and the Exit-Readiness Report are structured self-assessment tools. They reflect the answers you give us and nothing else. We do not verify what you tell us.
They are explicitly not:
- a business valuation
- an audit, or any form of assurance engagement
- accounting, tax, legal or regulated financial advice
- a substitute for professional advice on any specific decision
Do not make a decision to sell, buy, borrow against or restructure a business on the basis of these outputs alone. Take proper advice from your accountant, solicitor and corporate-finance adviser.
Buying an assessment
Clarity Intelligence sells two assessments, each £49:
- Exit-Readiness Review — how ready the business is to withstand the scrutiny of a sale. You do not need an account: payment itself gives you access, and creating one afterwards is optional and only useful for returning on another device.
- Business Health Review — the same four-pillar assessment applied to how the business runs today. This requires a Clarity Intelligence account before you start, because the assessment is kept against a business record that outlives the purchase.
- Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Total price: £49. No VAT is charged. You will receive an invoice for your purchase.
- Reports are dated, versioned and locked once generated. If you want a fresh view later, that is a new report with a new date.
Refunds and your right to cancel
As a consumer you would normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. Because the report is a digital service delivered immediately, you consent at checkout to it starting straight away and acknowledge that this ends the statutory cancellation right once you begin the assessments.
Regardless of that: if you have bought the report and genuinely think it was not worth £49, email us and we will refund you. We would rather give you £49 back than have you feel short-changed. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site unlawfully, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access
- resell, republish or systematically extract our content or report copy
- submit false information with the intent of misrepresenting a business to a third party
- interfere with the operation of the site, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
Intellectual property
The site, the assessment framework, the scoring rubric and the report templates belong to us. The report generated from your answers is yours: you may use it inside your business and share it with your own advisers freely. You may not republish our underlying framework or template copy as your own.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability arising from the website, the scorecard or the report is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost opportunity or a deal that does not complete.
Liability under a consultancy engagement is governed by that engagement’s own agreement, not by this clause.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
